Southern Tier Youth Football cancels 2020 season (Norwich Cyclone Logo from Norwich Cyclones Football @norwichcyclonesfootball on Facebook.)

Dear parents and guardians and Cyclone Participants,

It is with great sadness that we are reaching out to inform you that The Southern Tier Youth Football Conference has cancelled the 2020 youth football season. Consequently, the Norwich Cyclones will not commence a 2020 football or cheerleading season.

Conversely, as the NYS Athletic Commission continues to evaluate contact sports and guidance is provided, the Cyclone organization will continue to consider and entertain the potential for holding future fundamental training, if we can ensure operating a safe and sound program, while in full compliance with all local and state health guidelines. If such an opportunity is fully realized, we will notify all registered players and cheerleaders directly.

We are grateful for the opportunity to mentor and coach your children in the future and we appreciate your understanding during these unprecedented times. Looking forward to brighter days ahead.

Stay well,

– The Norwich Junior Football Board of Directors
