OXFORD – Are you bored and looking for something to do? The Oxford Memorial Library has come up with a solution, at least for one afternoon. Friday, July 31 from 2 to 5 p.m., the Library will be hosting an outdoor social distancing program for families.

Bring the family and your face masks to join the library staff for a fun afternoon of decorating the sidewalk in front of the library and on Forthill Park with wonderful works of art. The Library will provide each family with chalk to use and take home. The staff will have everything measured and spaced out, to help you maintain social distancing.

Also, if you wanted to participate in the Library’s Wzriting Contest, the deadline for submissions is Friday, July 31 as well.

For more information about these events and the Summer Reading Program, call the Library at 843-6146, check out the Oxford Memorial Youth Services and Oxford Memorial Library Facebook pages, or go to http://oxfordmemoriallibray.org.
