NORWICH – UHS Chenango Memorial is on the receiving end of $2.4 million in federal aid given in response to the global pandemic.

Funds are part of a larger $11 million package secured through the Provider Relief Fund of the bipartisan CARES Act, which passed the U.S. legislature in March. Aid was announced for three area hospitals on Monday. In addition to UHS, Faxton St. Luke's Healthcare in Utica will receive nearly $6.6 million; and Rome Memorial Hospital will receive $2.5 million.
