NORWICH—The Benedict Corporation of Norwich begin operating under new ownership last week with the sale of the third generation Norwich family automobile dealership to Bill Rapp Subaru of Syracuse on On July 9.

Bill Rapp Subaru is part of the Bill Rapp Superstore, a new and used vehicle dealership carrying Subaru, GMC Truck and Buick franchises. Vice President and Owner Brian Rapp, and his father, Bruce Rapp, dealer principal, said, “We plan to continue and to build upon Benedict’s excellent reputation for customer service, and guide its competent team of department managers and auto technicians, sales, parts, body shop, detail and business office workers over the next many, many years.”
