Dear Friend,

The coronavirus emergency has reached a critical stage, with the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in New York topping more than 20,000 and growing. Governor Cuomo has asked many New Yorkers to stay home to prevent the outbreak from spreading further. I know that Upstate New York families are struggling right now. We will get through this together. If you’ve been laid off, furloughed, or are struggling as a small business owner due to the coronavirus pandemic, there are government resources available to help you and listed below.

Last week, I held a telephone town hall with more than 10,000 participants. I was joined by health care experts and New York State Small Business officials to help our community work together to address this crisis. Telephone town halls, and e-mails like this, are critical to making sure every member of our community knows what’s going on.
