Four Facing Felony Indictments Following Grand Jury Decisions

NORWICH – Four defendants are facing felony charges after a grand jury indicted them on several crimes including sexual abuse of a minor, drug sales, driving while intoxicated, and failure to register as a sex offender.

Paul H. Russell Sr. was indicted for crimes including first-degree sexual abuse, a class D felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor, following an incident in the City of Norwich.

According to the indictment on May 7, 2018 Russell allegedly subjected a nine-year-old victim to sexual contact on Plymouth Street in the City of Norwich.

Rasheen Gibson was indicted for two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, class B felonies, following incidents in the City of Norwich.
