NORWICH – The Chenango United Way increased the annual capital campaign goal by $6,000 in hopes of better meeting community needs.

In September, the United Way announced it would be seeking $425,000 in donations for 2019, which is a $6000 more than 2018 when the group aimed to raised $419,000.

“There's so much need in the community, and were trying to meet that need,” said United Way Executive Director Elizabeth Monaco. “Currently we've raised $81,623, but most of our larger donations come in towards the end of the year.”
