CHENANGO COUNTY – Residents all throughout Chenango County suffered from power outages, downed trees, and flooding after officials said the area received approximately two inches of rain in less than three hours.

Jones said some residents on Prentice Street were forced to leave their homes after water filled the area. The flood waters also cut power and caused other problems with utilities.
