NORWICH – This weekend’s fall harvest event is the last in the park with Chobani.

According to Saturday in the Park with Chobani Market Coordinator Mindy Chawgo there is a variety of events going on during this weekend’s Saturday in the Park. Chawgo said there are so many different events for the finale, that organizers have extended operating hours until 2 p.m.

“The Norwich Family YMCA has joined us Saturday by having their annual Halloween Parade during the event starts at 11 a.m. with awards announced in front of the Courthouse immediately following the parade,” said Chawgo. “This is also the day for our fourth annual soup competition that wraps up the Saturday in the Park with Chobani event series, beginning at noon going until 1:45 p.m. with the awards announced at 2 p.m., again this year, the public will have an opportunity to vote for the People’s Choice.”
