Exciting MAC volleyball played by several Chenango County teams

BAINBRIDGE – Continuing to be undefeated in regular season play for the year was the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats Volleyball squad as the host team defeated the visiting Delhi Bulldogs 3-0 Tuesday evening.

B-G topped Delhi in the first game 25-12, allowing the most points scored against them for the match in the opening set. In the next two, the Bobcats held the Lady Bulldogs to six and seven points to secure the three-game set win.

Erica Selfridge served up 10 aces in the win along with setting up eight assists. Makenna Clark led the net game for the Bobcats, coming away with nine kills in the match. Selfridge added four while Sara Cannistra also scored four points in the match with the spike attempts.

Sasha Lamoree led the team in assists, dishing out nine to go along with her seven aces and teammate Taylor Parsons recorded four aces during the B-G victory.

Delhi was led by Riley Davis’ five digs.

Bainbridge-Guilford (9-0, 6-0) will look to make in 10 straight wins this season when the Bobcats travel to Greene on Thursday for a 5:30 p.m.
