ALBANY – Maguire Cardona is an Albany-based civil litigation general practice firm. The firm announced that Abigail Dean had joined the firm as an attorney.

A native of Norwich, Dean brings to the firm extensive experience with all phases of complex litigation, including drafting pleadings, attending depositions, and preparing for trial.

Before joining Maguire Cardona, Dean was an associate attorney at another well-respected Albany law firm in the litigation department. Prior to that she served as an assistant counsel for the majority counsel for the New York State Senate and a legislative fellow.

 

Dean is a 2016 graduate of Albany Law School, where she was also on the Dean’s List and participated in the Honorable Dominick Gabrielli Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Competition. She earned her undergraduate degree in political science from LeMoyne College in Syracuse in 2013, and was also a member of the school’s Pre-Law Society.

 

A resident of Troy, N.Y., Dean was admitted to the New York State Bar and the United States District Court for the Northern District in 2017. 

 

She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Northern District of New York Federal Court Bar Association, and the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers.
