DEPOSIT – The Deposit/Hancock Eagles hosted the Lady Trojans of Greene Monday and swept all three games, winning 25-4, 25-15 and 25-15 for the Midstate Athletic Conference (MAC) match.

Ella Simmons led the Eagles statistically as she finished the night with four kills and six aces. Teammate Haleigh Weyrauch ended with five kills to lead the team at the net while Kaitlyn Macumber dished out eight assists in the win. Also recording six aces for Deposit/Hancock was Kezie Worzel.

Greene’s Julianna Ayres and Valerie Stracquadanio led the defense for the Trojans as the two combined for 26 digs. Ayres finished with 22 while Stracquadanio had 14 digs, one kill and one assist.

Other Trojans that appeared in the stat column were Mackenzie Ingraham (one kill and one ace), Cheynne Whiteman (one assist) and Shelby Holt (two aces).

Greene’s next match is against Unatego on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
