COVENTRY – A Marathon man died due to his injuries following a road accident Saturday involving a motorcycle and a sedan.

Police said the motorcycle driver, Vincent N. Corbo, 22, of Marathon, sustained serious physical injuries and was transported to Wilson Hospital in Binghamton. He later succumbed to his injuries while at the hospital.

According to the Chenango County Sheriff's Office, at 9:24 p.m. on Saturday, at the intersection between State Highway 206 and Moran Road in the Town of Coventry, a 1998 Suzuki motorcycle traveling westerly collided with a 2010 Hyundai four door sedan that was making a left turn from Moran Road onto State Highway 206.
