NORWICH – Attracting and retaining young people is something newly announced Commerce Chenango President and CEO Kerri Green said is a crux of her agenda.

Green, settling into her first week on the job, introduced herself to Chenango County's planning and economic development committee Thursday with the purpose of networking with local leaders and touching on crucial economic issues, including the retention of young people in the area.
