NORWICH – After a decade of success one business owner is continuing to find reasons to celebrate.

In honor of its’ 10th year anniversary The Artists’ Palette will be having an open house August 10 from 12- 3pm at 17-19 South Broad Street. The event will offer free hot dogs from noon until gone, popcorn all day, make n’ take projects, face painting, sidewalk chalk competitions, raffles throughout the day and a special gallery show.

“We have changed so much even in the past few years I think this is a great opportunity for people who have not been here before to come in and meet us and for those who have been here, it gives them just another reason to come visit,” said owner, Jill Kraft. “The gallery will also have a special show displayed that was made possible by a local DEC grant through the council of the arts.” For the past three months I have worked with local agencies and expand out Art of Me Outreach program. This show is a display of all the work produced within that series.
