EARLVILLE – The Sherburne Music Theater Society (SMTS) will be presenting its summer musical production, You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown, at the Earlville Opera House later this month.

The show will take place at 2:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on July 20, and at 2:30 p.m. on July 21, at the Earlville Opera House.

According to Show Director Mark Sands, the show is based on the beloved Charles Schultz comic strip, the musical depicts “an average day in the life of Charlie Brown.” Joining Charlie Brown are his friends, Lucy, Patty, Schroeder, Linus and Snoopy.

"It’s a fun show, small show, based on a bunch of vignettes from Charlie Brown comic strips," said Sands. "We're hoping that we get a solid turnout and that people have a good time."

The production is being directed by Sands, with vocal coaching by Meena Nair Conant.

The cast includes, James Moren as Charlie Brown, Kaitlyn Jackson as Lucy, Tracy Owens as Snoopy, Ben Gorton as Schroeder, Marie Moren as Patty, and Zeke Miller as Linus.
