NORWICH – A family owned and operated coffee and all-natural, handmade product shop named Chase N Lilly's, Deja Brew in the City of Norwich is celebrating over a month of success after moving into a new building and expanding their product variety.

According to Chase N Lilly's, Deja Brew owner Kimberly Villafane expanded their business by moving to 12 South Broad Street in Norwich, adding a new coffee shop, and providing quality customer service with a relaxed atmosphere.

The store is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and specializes in a variety of coffee drinks and all-natural, handmade products.

"My daughter and I started the original business, and my husband jumped on board once we opened the new store," said Villafane. "We've been incredibly well received in Norwich, and we're grateful for that."

She said all of the store's handmade skincare and beauty products are all-natural, and the coffee is special ordered from Puerto Rico.

"We can do anything from espressos, to ristretto, cappuccinos, flat white, and several other forms of coffee," said Villafane. "Things like iced coffee and pastries have been a big hit right now."

"The big thing for us is we want to make sure everyone knows that they're welcome here."

When asked about the soap making process and why the family started with skincare products, Chase N Lilly's, Deja Brew owner Jennifer Jankoski explained that she started off making the products for herself, and eventually friends and family started to take an interest in trying them out.

"I learned about the chemicals that were in a lot of products I used, and wanted a more organic solution, so I started to make these all natural soap bars," said Jankoski. "Friends and family started asking for bars for themselves, and things took off from there.

"We're really thankful for everyone who has helped support us along the way."

She said the business hopes to hire some additional staff to help keep up with the demand, and may hold an official grand opening ceremony in the near future. She added that the store owners want to place a community board in the store to help share local events with their customers.
