ELMIRA – The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats saw their 2019 campaign come to close as they lost to No. 2 seed Thomas A. Edison Tuesday, 11-0.

B-G came away with three hits in the game – all from the heart of their batting order. Bailey Hart picked up her single in the top of the second to give the Bobcats their first runner of the contest.

Bree Barber added a hit in the fourth and Morgan Neidig tried to get a late game rally started in the seventh with her two-out base knock to centerfield but the next batter for Bainbridge-Guilford struck out, ending the game.

Thomas A. Edison’s Bella Willsey threw the complete game with a three-hit shutout in the circle for the win and the Spartans’ spot in the Section IV Class C semifinals.
