NORWICH – Nursing homes across the nation are currently celebrating National Nursing Home Week, from May 12 to 18. The theme this year is “Live Soulfully.”

Hospital Activities Director Karen Blackman, explains, “This is a special week and we will host a series of events designed to enrich the relationships and contacts between residents, youth, community members, and family and staff.”

The hospital provides resident care on its senior living floor.

UHS Senior Living marked the occasion with lots of activities at CMH this week.

The celebrations began with Mothers’ Day. Country singer Rylee Lum of America’s Got Talent fame led the list of events this week with an incredible concert for all the residents and staff.
