NEW BERLIN – The Village of New Berlin Board of Trustees welcomed two new members on Tuesday night and thanked them for their interest in serving the community.

After the recent election two new board members have been elected to serve the Village of New Berlin, trustees Michelle Priola and Christopher Gatti. Village Mayor Terry Potter, recently promoted Deputy Mayor Michael Conroe, Trustee Dave Smith, and Clerk Treasurer Kelly Anderson returned for another term.

At Tuesday night's meeting Potter wished the two good luck and thanked them for stepping up and serving their community.

"I know this won't be easy, but thank you guys for stepping up," he said. "There was a time where no one was interested in filling at least one of those positions, but we're excited to have both of you on board."

Both Priola and Gatti are from the New Berlin area, and said they looked forward to making a difference.

Priola said she was originally from Whitsboro NY, but has lived in the New Berlin area for 22 years. She added that she has a bachelors degree in english and sociology, and a masters degree in gerontology program administration.
