NORWICH – Longtime resident and former City of Norwich Mayor Marylou Stewart passed away on Wednesday.

Stewart served one term as City of Norwich mayor from 2002 to 2003.

Former City of Norwich Police Chief Joe Angelino said, “I was saddened to hear Marylou Stewart passed. She was such an effective person with her natural leadership skills. I enjoyed working for her when she was the Norwich Mayor and I was Police Chief.”
