BAINBRIDGE – The Bears of Bainbridge-Guilford-Afton-Harpursville took on Unatego/Unadilla Valley at home and took care of business with all but two matches being decided by pinfall in their 76-4 dual meet win Tuesday evening.

The lone win of the match for the visiting Unatego/Unadilla Valley team came in the 126 pound bout as Matt Bogden claimed a 15-6 major decision, defeating BGAH’s Wayne Lewis.

For the Bears, Shane Hoover continued his perfect season thus far, pinning James Wright of the U/UV team in just 28 seconds.

Also adding to their win streak for BGAH was Brody Oleksak. In the 132 pound bout against Unatego/Unadilla Valley’s Jacob Stevens, Oleksak landed a move that put his opponent flat on the mat at 4:23 to earn another six points for his team.

The only other match that was not determined by a pin was the victory for Jacob Terpstra, who picked up 14-4 major over U/UV Josh Meade.

Rocco Aruini (195), Joey Florance (99), Jose Bivar (106), Dylan Decker (113) and Trevor Ross (132) all won by forfeit in the meet to give BGAH 30 teams points on the scoreboard.
