The residents of Chenango County would be better served by encouraging innovative thinking on improving mass transit, car sharing programs, safe pedestrian walkways, bicycle lanes and car-free days throughout Norwich's downtown area. We will never get anywhere (pun intended) with profiteers posing as problem solvers. Cars are filthy polluters no matter how you power them. Cars have taken over our public spaces, it's time to take them back.
