NORWICH – For $7 and an unopened toy, Chenango County residents can have a spaghetti supper and see a movie while supporting a good cause at the third annual Toys for Tots Spaghetti Supper Benefit at Colonia Theater on Wednesday.

The supper will take place from 4 p.m. to 7, with a showing of two movies immediately following at 7. Patrons of the dinner can watch either Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas or The Cat in the Hat at the theater.

The menu of Wednesday's supper is spaghetti and meatballs, salad, and bread prepared by Nina's, and dessert provided by Canasawacta Country Club. Dinner will take place upstairs in the theater's event space and the movies will be shown in the two theaters on the first floor.

Admission to the dinner and movie is $7 and an unopened toy to donate to Toys for Tots. Children five and under can eat for free.

Toys for Tots Spaghetti Supper Benefit chairperson Lon Yerton said last year's event – the first at the Colonia Theater – raised 3,500 toys and $1,000 dollars, all of which went towards the local Toys for Tots.
