SUNY Morrisville to sponsor "Die Well: Live Well––A Grief Conference in Four Parts"

NORWICH – SUNY Morrisville's Human Services Institute will hold a grief conference on December 14 in collaboration with Hospice & Palliative Care of Chenango County and Wilson Funeral Home to better prepare people for grief associated with sickness and death.

Titled "Die Will: Live Well––A Grief Conference in Four Parts," the conference from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. will see presentations by John Gawronski and John Antonowicz of the Wilson Funeral Home, Kendall Drexler of Hospice & Palliative Care of Chenango County, Dr. Julanne Burton of SUNY Morrisville's Human Service Program, and Rev. Matthew Binkewicz of Finger Lakes Pastoral Services.

Burton said, "The goal of the grief conference is to help people understand that part of living well is having less stress related to planning either as a result of a serious illness or as a result of death."
