The final week of The Evening Sun’s football contest has come to a close and the winner is our first repeat winner of the season.

With the lone entry having picked 17 games correct, Debbie Wheeler of Norwich has won week 10. Wheeler follows up her winning performance from a week ago to win the final two contests of the year. There were several tied for second place with 16 correct picks as well as third place with 15 games right.

The Evening Sun would like to thank all who sent in entries throughout the contest season and congratulates all winners.

This season, Andy Lagoe of Gilligan’s in Sherburne topped all of the pickers with a final season record 147-53 (.735). Lagoe, who won last year, edged out Mike Grant of Matthews Ford by one correct game this final week. The two were tied going into week 10.
