LAURENS – The Bobcats of Bainbridge-Guilford suffered tough back-to-back losses over the weekend as both Laurens and Delhi captured one goal wins.

Saturday afternoon saw Laurens’ Lucas Oblinski score the game winner with 43 seconds remaining in the first overtime session.

Oblinski’s teammate Carson Shulgay tacked on the first goal of the contest, giving Laurens the 1-0 lead in the first half.

Bainbridge-Guilford’s Ryan Porter and Parker Luca connected to answer Laurens. Luca passed to Porter and Porter fired his shot into the back of the net in the first half, tying the game at 1-1.

The score held through the entire second half, forcing the extra time to determine the outcome.

Both the Laurens’ keeper Chris Long and B-G’s goalie Zach Graham (B-G) made four saves throughout the game.
