BINGHAMTON – Seton took a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the fifth and held on against the Lady Tornado for the win Friday afternoon.

The Saints took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the second but Norwich quickly answered in the third. Parker Walsh started the Purple Tornado rally when she singled to center. One pitch later, teammate Morgan Conkling singled to left field, sending Walsh to second.

On a passed ball, both runners advanced, leaving Norwich with two in scoring position for the Purple's Payten Seiler.

Seiler saw her ball end up in right field on the fourth pitch of the at-bat, scoring both Walsh and Conkling to tie the game at 2-2. Seiler picked up two RBI's on the hit

In the fourth, three singles by Saints batters led to Seton taking the lead back, ultimately turning into the game winning run.

Norwich's Alex Colley pitched the full six innings, striking out 15 Saints while allowing six hits and just one earned run.

Her opposition in the circle was Seton's Claire Loughlin who pitched a complete game, giving up six hits. Loughlin was only able to strike out two Tornado batters. She gave the Saints the winning bid when she singled in the fifth sending one across the plate for the 3-2 lead.

Walsh and Seiler went 2-for-3 in their at-bats for the game while Conkling and Olivia Granquist each added a hit for the Purple.
