The highly anticipated 2017 United States Marines, Amtrak, Norfolk Southern and Dunkin' Donuts Distribution Train will be stopping at five locations from Binghamton to Delanson on Saturday, making its stop in Bainbridge from 12:05 p.m. to 12:40 p.m.

The Marines invite any and all families in need, onlookers and enthusiasts to show support for the Capital Region Toys for Tots by joining them at one of the exciting stops along the route. There are no signups, qualifications or prerequisites for attendance.

Local Coordinating Officer and New Berlin Mayor Terry Potter says, "We're there as a local Toys for Tots presence and to support the US Marines and their attendance. Catholic Charities of Chenango County is a great example of one of our local organizations we partner with that is there and receives toys to help out families and children in need."

The children in attendance will see Santa and Mrs. Claus, uniformed service members and volunteers at each of the stations. New unwrapped toys, coats, hats, gloves, cookies and blankets will be handed out to any child in attendance.
