NORWICH – As part of its recent efforts to become more active in the community, Pires Flower Basket, Inc. is inviting the public to visit its new haunted hay maze, open between now and Halloween.

Located in a greenhouse beside the Pires produce stand at 216 North Broad Street, Pires owner Rick Williams says the haunted hay maze was created for children and admission is free of charge.

“This year we tried to keep it pretty low-key because we didn't want to scare the children,” said Williams. “We're trying to make it not too scary and it's been really popular with little kids.”
