S-E bowling stays strong

EARLVILLE – Both the Sherburne-Earlville boy’s and girl’s varsity bowling teams have been extremely active over the last couple of weeks.

On the girl’s side, the team picked up two consecutive wins against tough opposition. Last Friday, Jan. 27, they faced off against West Canada Valley Central High School, coming away victors on a final score of 1,964 total pins to 1,606 total pins.

The Marauders used three consecutive games of over 600 pins to clinch the victory, with Liesa Armstrong boasting the highest single-game score of the match, with a 185 in game three, as well as the highest series score, with a 495.
