Coventry Museum to host program honoring women service members past and present

COVENTRY—Area veterans, active duty members of the military along with gold star families and community members are invited to celebrate a special historical presentation hosted and sponsored by the Coventry Museum focusing on the selfless role that women played in serving in the U.S. Military.

The event is slated to take place beginning at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25 in the community meeting room of the Coventryville Congregational Church, 113 County road 27 near the four-way intersection of State Highway 206 in Coventryville.

The interactive program, developed by retired Captain Theresa Olszowy of the U.S. Army, was taken from wide range of personal and researched knowledge of the American Woman Veterans’ story.
