A Powerful First Half From Canastota Hands S-E A Season Ending Loss

CANASTOTA – The Red Raiders of Canastota hosted Sherburne-Earlville's varsity field hockey team, in what proved to be the Marauders final outing of the season as they were blanked 4-0.

The Red Raiders claimed a 4-0 lead at the halfway mark off the backs of Kenzie Hertel who earned brace on the day with her two goals. Hertel was assisted in the scoring by her teammates Becca Popple, and Jessica Evans. Assisting in the scores was Shannon Nirelli and Brianna Johnson who each earned one assist on the day.

The offensive struggles continued for the lady Marauders as they could only manage two shots on goal and one corner in the shutout loss.
