COLESVILLE – Adam Alexander, 28, of Afton, is facing one count of vehicular manslaughter in the second degree, a class D felony, and one count of driving while intoxicated, a class A misdemeanor, following an investigation into a crash that claimed the life of a Binghamton man.

The Broome County Sheriff's Office alleges that Jason Smith, 36, was killed after Alexander ran a stop sign at the intersection of Route 7 as he was traveling south on Route 235, and subsequently hit the motorcycle that Smith was operating.
