NORWICH – Norwich will have one female representative at this year’s New York State Outdoor Track and Field meet, sophomore Emily Shattuck will be competing in the long jump for the Tornado.

Shattuck unlike, her counterparts of Thomas Reilly and Zack Race, has quite a few years under her belt when it comes to the sport despite her young age. Shattuck had battled through various injuries in the early parts of the 2016 outdoor season, however, she has returned to her form of late and posted her last three jumps – in the long jump – as personal bests.
