Klecha and Anderson score, as Greene competes in the Class C meet

SIDNEY – The boys and girls of the Greene varsity track and field team traveled over to Sidney for the annual Section IV Class C Meet, last Thursday, May 26., at Sidney high school.

Out of the seventeen teams which were present for the meet, the boys would finish in fourteenth with only two-points scored. The eventual winner on the boys side would be Dryden who locked up the team win with 112-points.

The Lady Trojans wouldn’t fair much better as a team overall, as they would score just two-points, ending them in sixteenth place. The winner on the girls side was Newark Valley with 87-points.

Despite the low team scoring, their were some standout efforts made individually by both the boys and girls.
