Unatego

The Trojans would play some solid baseball on May 9, in the first round of the consolation MAC mini tournament, when visiting Unatego came to town, taking the game to 11-innings before ultimately succumbing to a Unatego win.

Greene jumped out to an early 2-0 lead heading into the fourth inning, with a run in the first and third innings.

However, Unatego managed to string together enough in the fifth inning to draw the game 2-1 in the top of the fourth. Greene was poised to end the game and walk away the victors of the game before surrendering a late push from Unatego in the seventh inning.

Unatego's Jeremy Wise would reach first base on a fielders choice throw to home to save the run. This advanced Jake Dejoy to third base, and eventually reaching home due to error.

Tied up at 2-2 and heading into extra inning, neither Greene nor Unatego would manage to get a guy home until the top of the tenth inning when Unatego would manage two guys on base due to an error and an intentional walk. Josh Feyerabend of Unatego would hit the RBI for the eventual winning run sending his teammate, Parker Packard home late in the tenth.
