Irwin And Berg Atop All-star List For S-E Girls Basketball

SHERBURNE – Recently the Center State Conference Division I named their all-star selections and four Sherburne-Earlville girls basketball players made the list.

Senior selections of the duo of Lilly Berg and Savannah Irwin was almost a guarantee and both Berg and Irwin dominated on the court all season over their opponents.

Irwin was selected as the League MVP in 2016 as she impressively made 65 three pointers this season, breaking her own school record for most three pointers in a season. Irwin averaged 16.8-points, 3.7-assists and 2.4-steals per game during the 2015-1016 season.

Irwin impressively broke two more school records when she made 8-three pointers in a game twice this year; and also scored a season high 40-points in a win over Vernon-Verona-Sherill high school.
