GREENE – After suffering a loss, at the hands of B-G, and a chance to advance to the MAC league finals the lady Trojans avenged this by earning a third place finish with a win over Sidney 37-27.

“And for the second game in a row Emma got us going, she had six straight points to open the game,” said Greene head coach Dave Gorton.

Emma Smith enjoyed a great outing for the Trojans as she netted 10-points on the night.

The lady Trojans would play stellar defense to begin the game as they only surrendered 15-points total by the end of the third quarter.

Greene enjoyed success on the offensive end of the game as well, putting up 17-points in the fourth quarter.

The game was never in doubt while they moved into the final quarter of play due to the high end efforts of all of the Greene squad.
