Winning 65-62, the UV boys had a hard fought game against a tough Waterville team. UV coasted through much of the game on the backs of Ryan Postma and Brett Hanselmier. Both boys scored 19 points apiece in UV’s victory. The first half ended 30-19 in the Storm’s favor.

Coming out of the locker room and into the third quarter, the story was much the same as UV kept ahead of the home team. It wasn’t until the fourth quarter when things started to click for Waterville. Down 45-31, the host team turned on the jets and scored 31 in the fourth to attempt a comeback. UV, with the help of Postma, who scored the bulk of his points in the fourth quarter, would stave off the Waterville comeback to hold on for victory.
