With Norwich now up 12-0, SV had their work cut out for them. The two teams would trade six point victories as SV won with a pin at 113 and Norwich’s Gabe Glanville took a forfeit at 120. Norwich would roll through the next two matches as Dalen Geislinger took the 126 match 8-0 and Ty Rifanburg won his 132 pound match 8-2.

The 138 pound match began a four match pin streak for the Purple Tornado, tearing through Sus Valley and sealing the victory. Zach Mills, Cole Rifanburg, Dustin Marvin, and Nick Murphy all earned pins and six team points for Norwich. “If tonight was any indication of how the season will go, we’re in pretty good shape,” said Norwich head coach Bob Hagenbuch. “We looked really good and really strong. We should roll right into the Clyde Cole Tournament on a good high.”
