APALACHIN, Ny - On Tuesday, October 6, the Norwich varsity golf team traveled to The Links at Hiawatha Landing in Apalachin, Ny to compete in the Class B tournament. Norwich would tie with Susquehanna Valley for first place with an overall team score of 410, but would be bumped to second after a tie breaker.

In the Class B tournament the tie breaker works by taking the strokes from the first hole played and tallying them to form a total score. After this was done it was determined that Susquehanna Valley had a lower score than Norwich and won the tie breaker 20-21. "It was a heart breaker," said Norwich Coach David Branham. "We played really well and I'm very proud of the kids."
