Spy- Changing jobs might be just the best thing you've ever done. Susan Cooper (Melissa Mccarthy) was always someone you would want talking to you if you were on a mission working for the CIA. She would always guide Agent Bradley Fine (Jude Law) when he was in the field and they were an unbeatable team. However, when something goes wrong, Fine is lost on a mission and Susan feels like she failed him. Now she thinks she has to find the one who was responsible. She learns about Rayna Boyanov (Rose Byrne) and Susan knows she has to be the one who has to take her down. Susan has never been in the field but she thinks she has the right stuff. Some aren't too sure. Can Susan avenge her friend and bring down the spy ring led by Boyanov? Mccarthy is currently working on the new "Ghostbusters" movie they've recently had Sigourney Weaver added to the cast which will be coming out next Summer in Theaters.

New on Television

Story Continues Below Adverts

The Player (NBC-Thursdays- 10 PM)- Finding a new way to save lives might be what you need to do. Alex Kane (Philip Winchester) was one of the best Anti-terrorists guys around but he decided to take his talents in another direction and became a security analyst to find people's weak spots so they would stay safe. His security is about to be violated when his lady love is killed and he becomes a target. He's about to get drafted by a mysterious organization known as "The House" which is led by Mr. Johnson (Wesley Snipes). They have an unusual ability to predict crimes before they happen and the person who foils those crimes is referred as "The Player." Mr. Johnson wants Alex to become that man. Now all he has to so is stop a kidnapping. The Police think Alex is the one who killed his girlfriend. Now Alex has to stay ahead of the Police and find the victim. Can he play the stakes to win the game?

The Toddster's Take- I loved this Show! Wesley is back in action with an all new vehicle to get his career on track again and this will be the first time he will be leading a cast on Television. From the producers of "ER," this is a story using chance to stop the bad guys before they can do any damage to the innocent. This one has a lot of potential.

Limitless- (CBS -Tuesdays 10 PM)- We all need new tools to try and do what we want. Bradley Cooper stars and produces this Television version of the hit film he was in from 2007. Cooper plays Eddie Morra. He's used a drug that made him super intelligent and has become a Senator. He becomes aware of others who've come into possession of the drug and focuses on a young man named Brian Finch (Jake Mcdorman). A friend of Brian's gives him a pill and now Brian wants to help his ailing Father. Brian's friend gets killed and now the FBI goes after him with an agent named Rebecca (Jennifer Carpenter) not far behind. They learn of Brian's new ability using the drug has made him valuable and now they think they can use him. Will Brian be declared innocent and what's Eddie's interest in him?

The Toddster's Take-I remembered the movie but it wasn't really all that interesting. This new twist on it has really brought the story in an new direction and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes. Carpenter and Mcdorman have some really good chemistry and the stories should be really good. Very Interesting!

Blindspot (NBC-Mondays 10 PM)- It would be strange to get a new lease on life. When we don't have a choice, the lease may not be something we want. Police find a bag in Times Square. When they look inside, they're shocked to find a woman (Jaime Alexander) with tattoos all over her body. They examine her to find that an FBI Agent named Kurt Weller's (Sullivan Stapleton) name is there and they ask him if he's ever seen this woman (now named "Jane Doe") before. He's never met her before but now they have to work together to see if they can learn what they can from her and the information on her body. The first part of it leads them to a man who's trying to set off a bomb. Along the way, Jane is found to have some unlikely abilities such as being able to speak Chinese and fighting skills. Can Weller find a way to help Jane?

The Toddster's Take- This one is "The Bourne Identity" meets "The Fugitive" with a bit more mystery thrown in. This one was like reading a good book and you can't wait to see what happens next. After seeing Alexander do her thing in the "Thor" movies, it will be really good to see her cut loose in something on her own. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Hopefully some of you have already seen them. We'll spotlight some of the newer shows in the future. Some movies are coming up in the theater too so stay tuned for them as well. The Toddster will return.
