NEW BERLIN – A New Berlin man sits in the Chenango County Correctional Facility following a ‘no knock’ warrant executed Thursday.

Nathaniel G. Sherwood, 31, was arrested and taken into custody after authorities entered a residence on Great Brook Potter Road in the Town of New Berlin.

Members of the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office said the search warrant stemmed from a lengthy investigation into the sales of heroin and cocaine in Chenango County.

The CCSO Narcotics Division and road patrol deputies entered the residence at approximately 11:20 a.m. Thursday.
