The Basketball Coaches Association of New York recently named its all-Section IV girls’ basketball team, coaches of the year, and players of the year.

Chenango County players Morgan Bullis of Bainbridge-Guilford and Makenzie Maynard of Norwich were among the 17 players named to the all-star team. Bullis, a senior, led the Bobcats in scoring and rebounding, and Maynard was Norwich’s leading scorer this season. Both girls played on teams that reached the Section IV finals.

Bainbridge-Guilford coach, Bob Conway, was also named the Class C coach of the year. Conway was also recently inducted into the Section IV Athletics Hall of Fame in March.
