Second Father-Daughter Dance Scheduled For Saturday

NORWICH – Get your dancing shoes ready girls, the second annual Father/Daughter dance is right around the corner.

The dance this year, sponsored by Catholic Charities of Chenango County, will be held March 21 from 5-8 p.m. at St. Bartholomew’s Parish Center at 73 East Main Street. The dance is open to girls grades kindergarten through fifth grade and tickets for the dance are $10 per adult and children are free. Included in the price will be food, music, dancing and a free keepsake photo.

Event coordinator, Magean Casella said “This event is an ideal time to honor the bond between fathers and daughters. We have a fun night planned where all the girls can feel like princesses dressing up and going to a 'formal' event.” Casella also stated the dance is open to uncles, step-fathers, grandfathers, “anyone who is that special someone to that child.”
