GREENE – Over the past eight seasons, The Chenango River Theatre has brought more than 30 productions to the area's stage enthusiasts – a feat that took many hands to accomplish.

A particular set of guiding hands has helped mold the footprint of the Route 12 Theatre into the shining example of community cooperation that it embodies today, and those belong to James Daniels.

In honor of Daniels' service and efforts, the Chenango River Theatre Gala will host its eighth annual Gala in his name in appreciation of his contributions and service to the theatre.

Daniels – a Managing Partner at Davidson Fox & Co. in Binghamton by day – has served on the theatre’s Board for nine years, helping advise the founding committee from before the company even existed all the way through the 2014 season.

The open-to-the-public event will be held at the Silo Restaurant, just off State route 206 east of the Village of Greene, on January 24 from 6 to 9 p.m.
