Tis the Season to have Movies, Patrollers! It's a good week for the Patrol and the Toddster has found some good ones just for you. We're all putting up with the cold but here are some movies that could help you take your mind off of it.

New on DVD

Guardians of the Galaxy- Becoming a hero when you don't want to be can surprise you. Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) always had a great imagination but nothing could have him prepared him for what would come next. Peter is kidnapped and taken into outer space by a band of space pirates. Years go by and he's become a mercenary and thief known as Star Lord. While trying to commit a theft, he's caught by the interstellar authorities and taken to prison where he meets some fascinating characters like Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista), and Rockett Raccoon (Bradley Cooper) and his companion Groot (Vin Diesel). They call get thrown together while trying to escape when Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace) of the Kree doing Thano's (Josh Brolin) to possess an ancient infinity stone. It's said whoever has the stone will be given ultimate power. Peter tries to get his new teammates together to stop them and get a hold of the stone. Can he convince them to serve the right cause? The sequel is set for release in 2016. Bautista is set to start working on "Spectre," the next James Bond movie in November 2015. Saldana will be heading to star in "Star Trek 3" coming out in 2016 too.

The Skeleton Twins- No one said chance wouldn't play a part in bringing those who aren't together back again. Maggie (Kristen Wiig) and Milo (Bill Hader) were both born on the same day. They had a disagreement and now haven't spoken for a long time. Sheer chance comes into their lives and both of them avoid getting killed on the same day. Something like this can really bring things into perspective. They both decide to start making amends in their lives and want to make up and try and get a fresh start with each other. Can they do it? Another great comedy to see is "The Hundred Foot Journey" now out on DVD in stores now.

Also on DVD

When the Game Stands Tall- When you're an athlete, finding a way to keep winning is something that could be easy or hard depending on your point of view. Based on a true story, Coach Bob Ladounceur (Jim Caviezel) was a good coach but decided to take a job with a team who didn't have much of a record. Over the course of the season, Coach Ladounceur took the De LaSalle High School Spartans with a record that no one surpassed. How did they do it and can they maintain it? Caviezel can currently be seen on "Person of Interest" airing on CBS at 10PM on Tuesdays.

What If?- It's always clear that people will always want something they can't have. Wallace (Daniel Radcliffe) never had a lot of luck with relationships. Being the victim isn't something Wallace liked being. Things start to change for him when he meets Chantry (Zoe Kazan). They strike up an instant friendship but over time Wallace's feelings start to change and he thinks he's met the one he wants to be with. There's only one problem. Chantry already named Ben (Rafe Spall) who she's been with for a long time. You always wonder if the best friend that you have could be the one. Can Chantry and Wallace figure it out? For a great Christmas gift, Radcliffe can be seen in the entire Harry Potter series now available in stores.
