NORWICH – It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas, and with that in mind The Norwich Theater Company is pleased to announce the presentation of Irving Berlin’s holiday classic “White Christmas” on Nov. 21 – 23 at the Chenango Arts Council in Norwich.

Directed by Richard Heim, “White Christmas” will be choreographed by Bernie Windsor and feature vocal direction by Meena Conant and musical direction by Greg Maistros.

The cast ensemble will feature leads Michael Gray (Bob Wallace) and Kyle LaFever (Phil Davis) along with Jenni Larchar as Betty Haynes and Jennifer Winslow as Judy Haynes.

Based on the beloved timeless film starring Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye, the quintessential heartwarming musical adaptation tells the story of two famous World War II veterans who create a successful post-war song-and-dance team. With romance in mind, the two partners follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by the vets’ former army commander.

With laughter, love, and crazy plot turns, this Broadway-style production includes dazzling standards such as “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “Sisters,” and the perennial favorite, “White Christmas.”

“White Christmas” is an uplifting musical perfect for kicking-off our local holiday season. No stranger to the Director's chair, White Christmas will serve as Heim's eighth production.
