Oxford 2, Greene 1

OXFORD – Four-goal losers to Greene in the first meeting this season, Oxford avenged that defeat breaking through for its first win of the season Tuesday.

Cheyanne Moore scored both goals for Oxford, the latter with just 2:01 left in regulation. Amy Branham initiated the play for the Blackhawks making a pass up the right side. Moore made a one-touch move, then fired a shot into the far left netting.

Greene led early on Olivia Reagan's first-half goal before Moore tied it up before halftime. "We didn't get down after we fell behind, and we never gave up," said Oxford coach Kathleen Cragle.
